Because it’s been seven years. The Brony Fandom has been around for seven years. We’ve had over one hundred episodes. We’ve got John De Lancie playing not just a recurring character, but an expy of Q, the character that made him famous in the first place. We’ve been on the superbowl ad. We’ve had three movies, one documentary about us, multiple charity events, many successful cons, and after all this time, little babies still get butthurt when they see people having fun and enjoying things without them. Despite the best efforts of lesser groups(Remember when feminists got butthurt about a porn parody blog named Princess Molestia, pressured Hasbro to order a C+D when they couldn’t care less, got ignored, then campaigned to get it censored and finally whined the author into giving up? Remember when a feminist went to a brony con, seethed silently in a corner, then claimed a little girl ran up to her and said a man was after her, feminists spread the story like wildfire, and it turned out she was lying?), we’re still a thing and we’re still going strong.

Why am I still a brony?

Because making people like you cry is half the fun.
