The comment I cited has a score of +4 on r/politics. r/politics is one of the most highly educated subreddits ,and also suffers from a constant barrage of downvote brigades from r/the_donald. The fact that it was upvoted to +4 means that in reality, there are AT LEAST 4 users of r/politics, (who statistically are very likely to have at least abachelors degree) who find truth in what those statistics say.

Oh, and inb4 you say something like “the truth isn’t a popularity contest,” you’re right, but when it comes to upvotes on r/politics, there is a nearly 100 percent correlation between upvotes and truth.
