In this essay I will explain why Abraham Lincoln could defeat Jesus in a mixed martial arts fight. Lincoln was not only the greatest president of all time, he is also one of the most famous and respected men to ever live. He has been immortalized in song, film, literature and even comic books. His name is synonymous with freedom, justice and equality for all people. The fact that he fought against slavery makes him an icon of the American Revolution. If you think about it, there are very few historical figures who have had as much influence on modern-day society as Lincoln did. In addition to being a great man, he was also a masterful fighter. He was known to engage in wrestling matches and “friendly” fistfights with his fellow frontiersmen. He was once described as a man of “astonishing strength and stamina” by none other than John Calhoun, the legendary Texas Giant! Most people believe that Jesus Christ was a peaceful man. Indeed, he did preach pacifism and forgive-ness. But he was still a Jew, and a man of extraordinary physical stature. During his time as a carpenter, he was known to have the strength to cut huge wooden beams with one swing of his axe. It is also written in the Christian bible that Jesus once caused a massive grain bin to explode by calling upon the name of his God. If Jesus could do these things, then it is safe to assume that he would have no problem defending himself from common thugs and robbers. Now lets look at some evidence as to why Jesus would lose a fight with Abe: 1. Jesus did not have the element of surprise on his side. 2. He was not as strong as Abe 3. Jesus had never been in a fistfight before, and did not know how to handle himself. 4. Abe had the full support of the United States government and its massive army. I have more arguments, but I think you get the idea. If Jesus attempted to use any of his so-called miracles, then Abe would just grab him, break his arm, and throw him to the ground. At this point, Jesus would probably cry and surrender. As you can see, there is no way that Jesus could ever win such a fight. I hope this information has been helpful. Sincerly, Elwood Edwards
