Hi guys, I am an amateur meme maker. I have a very strong PC and I have a decent mac-book pro 2013.

I prefer to make memes on my mac-book pro because laying in bed and watching tv > sitting on a desktop.

Why does this matter? Well, I tried using **Photoshop CC** on my mac-book pro and it ran SO BAD. Like unusable. I did some research and found a lot of users complaining that an update not too long ago has made it very laggy for mac users.

I then tried using **GIMP** but I found it to be incredibly annoying to use; though it did not have any performance issues as a program in itself.

This is going to sound lame; but I am currently using **Microsoft Powerpoint** to make memes. I can’t even properly crop images in it! (Obviously OP, it’s a presentation maker software)

To sum things up I am looking for software that

* is good to make memes
* is good to crop images
* (Does not have to be the same program but maybe an alternative to photoshop) is good at photoshopping
