Kizuna AI could reasonably beat Goku in a fight. Are you listening? No. You’re not. Sit down.

First and foremost – this is the crux of the battle, so listen closely – Ai-chan exists only in the Virtual World. That’s pretty solidified in Ai Channel canon, so that’s unquestioned. If you want to interact with AI-chan outside of the Virtual World, you just sorta’ talk to a computer screen (Which, interestingly enough, she can seem to interact with the world through, but that’s a different story). Goku can smash all the computer screens he wants, unless he enters the virtual world, he’s not going to do any damage to our beloved kawaii virtual Youtuber.

Okay, so Ai-chan has to bring you to the Virtual World. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t think it’s possible to enter without her (or some other virtual youtuber) bringing you in. They tend to do this by sneaking up behind people and kidnapping them, might I note. It’s unclear if they have a fan/producer strap a VR headset on them, or knock them out and literally suck their soul into cyberspace like some sort of kawaii she-daemon, but what’s important is that everyone who’s been ‘dragged’ into the Virtual World react with some sort of disorientation and confusion.

So already Ai-chan has two advantages: Home turf and Goku has to get his bearings. But that’s not all. Kizuna is GOD in the virtual world. Although the Virtual World seems to default to a blank white void with only a floor, Ai-chan and the other VYT’ers can create objects such as chairs, easels, and even turn the setting into something completely different (a sake bar, for example).

So? You say. Goku’s fought literal gods in his home series and come out on top.

Okay, this brings us to the real meat of the issue: Goku’s power-source. It’s Ki. Ki is well-defined in the Dragonballverse as using two sources of power: Internal ki and external ki.

We’ve already defined that it’s unclear how you get to the Virtual World, but there two possibilities: Either you get a VR headset or the like strapped over your eyes or you get your soul sucked into it.

If it’s by VR headset, you aren’t really THERE. Thus, your internal ki would be non-present, rendering Goku powerless. If it’s by soul sucking, you have internal ki (since you’re physically present) but since you’re in cyberspace, no external ki. Once again, Goku is powerless.

This means he only has his martial arts to rely on. No Kamehameha, no spirit bomb, etc.

So? You say, Goku still has EXTREME strength.

Yeah, well so does Ai-chan, remember. We’ve seen Ai-chan destroy cars with her fists, and that’s probably the weakest of her feats. But more important is the time in Episode 2 she used a digital version of Kamehameha. Kizuna AI can literally give herself powers because she finds them COOL. Imagine what she could pull out in a death battle.

Anyway, as I was saying, Kizuna AI is more powerful than Goku. Thank you for coming to my TED talk.
