Guys it’s seriously time to stop with these Harambe memes. #DicksOutForHarambe sets a bad example for teenagers and can lead to fatal incidents. You probably think I’m joking but I’m not, I’m actually serious. Let me tell you a story about my little brother, Ben. Ben was 12 years old when the Cincinatti zoo incident occurred. He saw a picture of Harambe on the news and was instantly transfixed. He couldn’t get enough of the furry bastard. My mom sometimes had to pull Ben off of the computer because he was looking at inappropriate pictures of Harambe (close ups of Harambe’s penis, Harambe sticking a banana up his ass, etc.). We just looked at the whole thing as an innocent faze and a few years down the line we would all laugh about how silly it all was. Then one day my mom was going up to Ben’s room to tuck him in and say goodnight when she walked in to see Ben watching a video on his iPad, of Harambe fucking another gorilla up the ass. Ben was completely naked and masturbating furiously. My mom freaked out and told Ben to explain himself. He said, and I quote, “You don’t understand mom! I was taking my dick out for Harambe! It’s a meme! I wasn’t doing it seriously!” My mom was on the verge of calling a psychiatrist but she was still in denial of how much Ben had submerged himself in the “Harambe-culture”. A few months passed and I returned home from school to find the police at my house talking to my mom who was sitting on the couch crying into her handkerchief. Apparently my brother and a couple of friends wanted to show their support for Harambe by jumping off of the Brooklyn Bridge. Ben died on impact to the water. The police recovered his body and found that he was naked from the waste down and had a note in his jacket pocket. The ink though faded slightly from being underwater read “Did it fur [sic] Harambe”. This meme is dangerous and has the ability to make naive kids jump to their deaths for a fucking gorilla. So I wanna ask all you Harambe fans. Is it worth it?
