While yes, Nintendo should be more transparent with their announcements instead of the silence until a direct announcement 2 days before. You have to understand that Nintendo Directs are news updates. They aren’t suppose to be routine pieces of entertainment to be consumed every 3-4 months. They are essentially pre recorded press conferences made when there are new games to be announced or advertised. If there isn’t a Nintendo Direct happening, that means they don’t have enough prepared at the time ready to be announced. If a direct came out today, you would most likely be disappointed with the lack of announcements. The fact is, Nintendo simply is most likely not ready for a direct at this time. I get this is the longest wait for a direct, but at the end of the day, no matter what, Nintendo is not going to release a direct because of you begging online. I think all should just take a breath and relax, a new direct will come, but going on the internet and saying “Give us a new direct! Direct us to new announcements!” Won’t make it happen faster. In the meantime, why not play some games that HAVE been released. Play some games that HAVE been released. Play some games from your backlog, even buy a new game from the Eshop! For every amount you hype up a direct, your disappointment gets 2x as big. Just sit back, relax, and when a direct happens, you’ll most likely get the enjoyment of it without many unrealistic expectations
