What some people fail to grasp, is that Bernie’s campaign isn’t just about electing himself as president. It’s about creating a movement that resembles the civil rights, gay rights, woman’s rights, and other movements that created tremendous change, and helped shape this country into what it is today. This movement is about bringing people together, and opening the eyes of individuals so they realize if they want anything to change in this country, it will only occur when tens of millions of people stand together and demand real change.

This campaign is the only one addressing the major issue affecting all of us, and the cause of so many other issues. That issue has to do with our corrupt campaign finance system, and attempting to repeal Citizens United, which basically allows billionaires and corporations to donate(bribe) as much money as they like to candidates through SUPER PACS. If Wall Street donated or contributed tens of millions of dollars to your campaign, would you turn around and then enact regulations and policies which break up their banks or infringe on their future profits?? If the fossil fuel industry donated that much as well, would you then turn around and enforce strict environmental regulations on them which hurt future profit?? No you wouldn’t, because they wouldn’t waste their money then. It’s common sense, and doesn’t take much brain power to realize it. When companies have armies of lobbyists working daily to deregulate and create policies that only benefit them, there is something wrong.

Whether Bernie wins or loses the nomination, he has already created a new generation of progressive politics, which will continue to stick around. He’s opened up the eyes of people who were unaware that we’re the only major country on earth that doesn’t guarantee healthcare as a right, that we pay by far the highest prescription drug prices in the world, how Wall Street banks are bigger now than when they were bailed out before, how we have a campaign finance system that is undermining democracy, and how the 1% own almost as much wealth as the bottom 99% in America.

He’s created a movement which is about us, and not just himself. It isn’t about Hillary doing everything possible to go down in history as the first woman president, or others who are bought out by big campaign contributors. This campaign is about creating a movement where millions of people come together, protest together, and fight together, to demand and create real change which benefits the majority, and not the few. I stand and support Senator Sanders more than anything else out there, and I believe this is the only campaign which has any type of chance of ridding us of these greedy parasites and lobbyists who only want more and more for themselves, while never giving anything back in return. Together we can change America. #FeelTheBern
