Jeff Bezos’ New Shepard rocket exploded minutes before launch, killing all three astronauts on board.

A rocket exploded minutes before launch in a test flight of the company’s New Shepard rocket.

The rocket was carrying three employees from Blue Origin, the company that built it.

SpaceX CEO Elon Musk denied sending “any dummy rockets” to New Shepard, and has now suggested the New Shepard is definitely a failed rocket.

“SpaceX has not lost a single Dragon or Falcon 9 rocket,” he tweeted.

The SpaceX company has not had a failure with its Falcon 9 rocket.

The rocket was carrying three employees from Blue Origin, the company that built it.

“A New Shepard rocket exploded early this morning,” Blue Origin said in a statement.

“There were no injuries to our personnel and no one on the ground was hurt. The capsule and crew module made it to an altitude of more than 62 miles before landing successfully.”

Blue Origin said that its rocket had been “fully loaded with fuel” and “was flying on a standard mission”
