How DARE you, Ralof is by far the best stormcloak soldier ever, he is a calm person and wise, when joining the STORMCLOAKS, he greets you happily and you can see that he is very glad to be with the DRAGONBORN (a.k.a. the player, YOU) he is the BEST CHARACTER IN THE GAME, and NO, SERANA IS NOT THE BEST CHARACTER, just because she is a hot vampire doesnt make her the ultra mega best skurim character, RALOF IS, he is the only one that dares to talk to you, in an attempt of not making you feel left out before your death, so in conclusion, he is best character, YOU ARE THE CLOWN
